Oakwood is situated just on the outskirts of Roundhay Park and is known for the Oakwood clock, which is situated on the corner of Oakwood's main shopping street.
There are plenty of shops ranging from tailors, estate agents, boutiques and includes a few cafés and restaurants for local residents. There are two supermarkets Tescos and a smaller Safeways and it is always a busy area as Roundhay Park is close by. |
Housing includes large detached properties as well as a range of more affordable semi detached property and flats. There are plenty of buses in and out of Leeds and all the residents can take advantage of the open playing fields of Roundhay Park.
